The neighborhood is brand new and has many miles of paved nature trails. The race is very scenic throughout the entire course. Half marathon runners will have miles of  water views and luscious beautiful landscaping.

The half marathon and 5K event start and finish at Sugden Regional Park. There is ample parking at the start and finish line area which is very convenient. Many runners find that this is an added bonus. A lot of half marathon’s in the state do not have ample parking near the start or finish and that is always an extra thing to think about before an event. 

The race also finishes in front of the grandstands by the beach at Lake Avalon. This is a very unique finishline which not only provides spectators with ample seating, but they are also able to see several miles of the course seated comfortably inside the stadium finish line at Lake Avalon.
